Warming Up

Why hello there, April. Where did March go? I cannot wait until the semester is over, we've been so busy and I've heard that next semester is a little bit slower paced, which I need right now. I don't know if it's because it has already happened once before that I'm not so bummed out about it but I failed a second time on an exam. Just the pharmacology section, which isn't that bad...but it was also unnecessary. I really need to prioritize my studying a little bit better...I was so worried about the other two sections that I saved pharm for last and when I finally got there I found out it was wayyy more detailed than I remembered. So...I brought it upon myself. In more positive news, the semester ends in two weeks, thank goodness. Also, it's finally warming up over here...just in time for Joanna and Tammy to come this weekend! Woohooooo!!! I kinda feel bad that they're so excited because North Carolina really does not have much to offer so I'm trying to come up with things for us to do so that they're not bored out of their minds. They are here for 5 days, 3 of which will be during the week and I'll be in class. I'm at least excited that Duke is in the final four and we can go to my go-to wing place to catch the game...good thing I have enough Duke tshirts =] So yeah, pretty happy to have guests here from home. I feel so isolated from the rest of my world. Lisa stopped by last week for just a night and it was like the highlight of my week. 1) I haven't seen her in ages and 2) she's someone from home. Even better is the fact that the boys in my house will be gone for the weekend so we'll have the house to ourselves for a little bit. Itinerary includes homemade ice cream on a farm where there are cows mooing and rocking chairs to sit on in the porch, Duke game and wings, shopping, Easter mass, Easter brunch, How to Train Your Dragon, either hiking or canoeing, shopping, plenty of eating and of course, quality time =]
